Understanding the past helps you reflect on and understand the world as it is today.

The Public History graduate program provides training in the research methods and practical skills needed for work in archives, museums, historic preservation, and other areas of public history. Digital skills are stressed in each part of the curriculum. In the degree’s three segments, students will combine theoretical knowledge and historical analysis with practical projects.
