Career Catalyst is a program designed by the faculty and staff of the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock School of Business to prepare students for professional success and leadership in their chosen careers. Through clinics, workshops, and events, Career Catalyst helps students build the skills, connections, and confidence that employers value. Beginning in Fall 2027, the program will be known as Business Advantage: The Business Student Experience 鈥 a renaming that reflects a broader focus on the full range of professional, community, and financial skills that shape a business student’s return on investment.
Under Business Advantage, students complete four categories: Career Essentials (resume and interview workshops, career fairs, etiquette and communication training, and workplace ethics), Classroom to Community 鈥 Building Networks (service days, volunteer work, and student organization leadership roles), Experiential Learning (internships, competitions, and high-impact course projects), and Financial Empowerment (events and workshops that build personal financial literacy). Students may attend events on campus or virtually, keeping the program accessible to campus and online majors alike. Rather than following a one-size-fits-all checklist, students work with their department chair to build an individual plan for the workshops and events that best advance their own career goals.
To ensure every student has a direct connection to these opportunities, all business students are automatically enrolled in the School of Business Student Resources hub on Blackboard. To access your resources:
