Basu named as distinguished IEEE Fellow

IEEE Fellow status is a distinction reserved for select IEEE members whose extraordinary accomplishments in any of the IEEE fields of interest are deemed fitting of this prestigious grade elevation.
Dr. Arya Basu became a member of the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Department of Computer Science faculty in 2022. Since then, he has hit the ground running as far as research and course offerings.
Dr. Basu earned his BS in information technology from West Bengal University of Technology in India as well as a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Georgia. He worked as a visual information specialist and research scientist at the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship before joining 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock in 2022. Dr. Basu also serves as faculty advisor for the of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM). Contact Dr. Basu if your research interests lie in the visual information field.
