The Office of eLearning will support all 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock faculty in this effort with Blackboard Ultra Academy, which is an opportunity for faculty to gain hands-on experience and transition courses with the support of eLearning’s instructional design and support teams, while seamlessly integrating quality assurance standards in all courses.

By joining the Ultra Academy: Prep for Spring faculty will:

• design courses for Blackboard Ultra with insight and support from our Instructional Designers
• migrate to Ultra alongside other 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock faculty
• get early access to course development shells
• ensure that your course meets 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock’s internal Quality Assurance Standards for teaching online.

The Office of eLearning is offering a series of four workshops designed to help you develop a new course or re-design an old one.  You’ll gain new ideas and insights and leave with a course that functions optimally for you and your students.

This series is ideal for both new instructors as well as courses that will undergo the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Quality Assurance or Quality Matters standards in the future.  Instructors should have basic knowledge of Blackboard.

Clear and measurable objectives are essential in communicating learning expectations to students. But are your objectives properly aligned with your assessments and instructional materials? In this session we will explore course mapping and how to ensure alignment in your online course.

Developing an online course based on an existing face-to-face course requires more than learning how to use the technology and loading the material into the learning management system. In this workshop, we discuss and share ways to build your face-to-face assignments in your online course.

These stand-alone workshops will give you new insight into each topic.  You will gain ideas to implement in your current and future courses.
