Summer Step Challenge – A Peak A Day!

It’s time for Fit/Well’s step/activity challenge, Step Into Summer- A Peak A Day! Let’s enjoy the summer weather together by stepping into summer with the 5-week “A Peak A Day”! The goal of this 5-week program is to work activity into our routines by (Virtually) “hiking” a sample of the 477 Major Summits of the United States every day, to help us maintain or improve our cardiovascular health. No need to travel, as the challenge is virtual! The program will run from June 22 – July 26, 2026. Each week, you will receive a reminder to report your steps, along with information about the peak of the week. This program is free and open to all ��Vlog��ý Little Rock students, staff, and faculty. Feel free to share with your friends and colleagues. Join in the fun by using the registration . Movement Monday

Let’s start your week on the right foot by moving for 30 minutes. Regular movement (walking, swimming, lifting weights, bike riding, etc.) can improve both your physical and mental health. One of the easiest ways to get moving is to walk. If you do not want to walk alone, you are welcome to walk with us every Monday at noon for Movement Mondays. We meet in front of the DSC entrance by the ��Vlog��ý Little Rock Bookstore every Monday and would love to accompany you for a short walk. Join Central Arkansas Library System’s Shannon Holmes on Tuesdays from 2-4 PM for Colorful Creative Corner at ��Vlog��ý Little Rock Downtown. All ages are welcome to this free Summer @ CALS program for coloring, collaging, and creating whatever you want! All supplies provided. Come hang out and create in a relaxed (air-conditioned!) atmosphere. Bring a friend or make a new one!
