College Hunger Summit attendees can tour the Campus Garden to see sustainable, hands-on food initiatives. Learn how we turned a field into an urban farm over the past decade through ongoing volunteerism efforts. The Arkansas Hunger Relief Alliance’s College Hunger Summit is an annual statewide gathering that unites students, faculty, administrators, policymakers, and advocates to address the urgent issue of food insecurity on Arkansas college campuses.

Come visit the Campus Garden on Earth Day to see how we approach challenges with climate change, food independence, and sustainable practices. Tours are on the half hour.

Coleman Creek cleanup follows, beginning at 3:30 p.m. Participants are encouraged to tour a rain garden at the U of A Cooperative Extension Service, 2301 So. University Ave., near parking lot 16.
