]]> The university continues to shift toward bulk orders for computer purchasing to take advantage of any available discounts. For computer purchases, departments should consider combining their Dell and Apple purchases with the IT Services purchase that will be initiated twice a year.

Unanticipated computer needs that arise in between these bulk orders will follow the department’s usual purchasing procedures.

The department’s usual internal approval processes will be the same for bulk orders. Please be sure to work with your area’s IT support specialists.

Next Dell Bulk Order Schedule:

Spring 2024:

  1. February 15: First wave of announcements go out to all employees
  2. March 1: Second wave of announcements go out to all employees
  3. March 15: Deadlines for list from departments
  4. March 25: Finalized Quote with Dell submitted in Workday
  5. Early April: Order Issued
