The Open Access Publishing Support Fund enables 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock faculty to publish scholarly work in open access (OA) publications by providing grants for up to $2,000 toward the cost of publisher article processing charges (APCs).

Funding Guidelines
Authors
- Tenured or tenure-eligible faculty who are the sole, primary, or corresponding author of the work are eligible to receive funds. Articles co-authored with authors from other institutions will only be supported if the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock author is the lead or corresponding author.
- Awards will be limited to faculty without other sources of funding. Applicants should provide cost-sharing (e.g., department, college, grant funds) when available.
Publications
- Funded manuscripts must be published open access in journals or books with free availability to readers at the time of publication (with no embargo period).
- Publications must be peer-reviewed sources from reputable publishers with an article fee schedule publicly available online.

Funding
- The maximum amount of support is $2,000 for a single publication and $3,000 per fiscal year. The author is responsible for paying any additional amount or other incidental charges.
- Requests will be supported on a first-come, first-served basis until funds are expended.
- The Ottenheimer Library will make payments for approved awards to publishers on the author鈥檚 behalf. Authors should not make payments prior to the grant award, as reimbursements cannot be guaranteed.
- Upon award, authors should submit their accepted article/chapter for publication within four weeks of funding. Funded awards must be expended within the fiscal year requested.
- Authors should include the following statement of acknowledgment: 鈥淭his publication was funded by the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Open Access Article Publishing Support Fund.鈥
- Authors agree to deposit a final published version of the manuscript into a university institutional repository for long-term preservation and collocation with other university scholarship.
