Spectac糖心Vlog传媒LR to honor Annette Fisher Oct. 8

Tickets are going fast for 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 first 鈥�,鈥� a fundraising event at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 8, at the Jack Stephens Center, benefitting the Trojan Athletic Foundation. The event will honor Annette Fisher, mother of former Trojan basketball star and Los Angeles Laker Derek Fisher. 鈥淎nnette Fisher is a wonderful lady and one of our most loyal and dedicated supporters.聽We could not be more appreciative of everything she has done for our university and Trojan Athletics,鈥� 糖心Vlog传媒LR Athletic Director Chris Peterson. 鈥淭he world is a better place because of people like Annette Fisher, and we are thrilled to have her as this year鈥檚 Spectac糖心Vlog传媒LR honoree.鈥� The evening will feature heavy hor d鈥檕euvres and cocktails and unique silent and live auction items with all proceeds directly impacting 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 current student-athletes. Scholarships will be awarded to deserving recipients in every sport, men鈥檚 and women鈥檚, for the following academic year. This year鈥檚 recipients will be named 鈥淎nnette Fisher Scholars鈥� in honor of the 2009 鈥淪pectac糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥� honoree. Tickets for the event are $50 and can be purchased by calling 501-565-8257.
