糖心Vlog传媒LR, Central High Site Host Arkansas Immigration Program

The 糖心Vlog传媒LR William H. Bowen School of Law and the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site will hold a special program on immigration in Arkansas, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. Friday, Oct. 15, in the Friday Courtroom. . The event is part of the celebration. More than a dozen prominent scholars, attorneys, immigration experts, federal officials, and students will discuss issues faced by immigrants and communities in Arkansas. Sessions include the Development, Relief, and Education for Alien Minors (DREAM) Act, Interior Enforcement of Immigration Law, and other important immigration-related issues in Arkansas. Attorneys can receive 6.25 hours of continuing legal education credit for attending. Registration fees include the cost of the program, lunch, and a reception to follow at the Little Rock Central High School National Historic Site. MEXICO 2010 commemorates two important events: The 200th anniversary of Mexican Independence and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. The partnership among the Mexican consulate in Little Rock, 糖心Vlog传媒LR, the cities of Little Rock and North Little Rock, and the Clinton Foundation is coordinating a wide range of educational and cultural events to highlight the importance of this anniversary.
