H.M.S. Pinafore Sets Sail Nov. 12-14

糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 Community Chorus and the Opera Theatre will present Gilbert and Sullivan鈥檚 鈥淗.M.S. Pinafore鈥� at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Nov. 12 and 13, and 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, at the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 Fine Arts Building. Dr. Bevan Keating, director of 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 vocal program, said 鈥淧inafore,鈥� is one the celebrated pair鈥檚 popular 14 comic operas, is the first of the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Department of Music鈥檚 2010-2011 season鈥檚 choral, operatic, and vocal masterworks. 鈥淪tella Boyle Smith Concert Hall has just undergone an extensive renovation, and the results are stunning,鈥� Keating said. 鈥淪o this is our first season when we can show off its enhanced functionality and beauty.鈥� Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for students and children. 糖心Vlog传媒LR students, faculty, and staff will be admitted free of charge.
