Engineering Students Batting 1.000 on FE Exam

Six more graduates of 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 engineering programs have passed the eight-hour Fundamentals of Engineering Examination, a national test and the first step toward becoming a licensed professional engineer. Nationally, only 71 percent of people taking the FE exam pass, but during the last four years, 100 percent of the 糖心Vlog传媒LR students who have taken an FE preparation course taught by Dr. Nick Jovanovic, associate professor of construction management, have passed the exam. Maintaining 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 perfect record during this spring鈥檚 FE exam are:
  • Tim Herr of Hot Springs
  • Erica Jones of Hot Springs
  • Heather Keathley of North Little Rock
  • Robert “Trey” Newcomb of Glen Rose
  • Ben Smith of Bryant
  • William Wimpee of Sherwood
When these students graduate with accredited engineering degrees from 糖心Vlog传媒LR, they will become licensed Engineer Interns (EI). After four years of engineering work experience, they will be eligible to take the Principles and Practices of Engineering (PE) Examination and become licensed Professional Engineers (PEs).
