Tree Planting to Remember Art Student
Members of the Little Rock Rugby Club will plant a tree Saturday in memory of their teammate, 糖心Vlog传媒LR graduate student Keri Young. The Zambian native died in a automobile accident on Saturday, Jan. 29. The ceremony will be at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 11, at the Little Rock Rugby Club, 14301 Dineen Road in Little Rock.
Young was studying for her masters in art when she died. Her parents donated one of her paintings 鈥� 鈥淪hort Stories: Tight Rope, Oil and Mixed Media, 2010鈥� 鈥� to the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Permanent Collection in her memory. The painting is in the current exhibition of 鈥淲ork from the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Permanent Collection鈥� in the Fine Arts Building. View more stories in News
