Health Prof Publishes on Childhood Obesity

Dr. Amar Kanekar, assistant professor in the Department of Health Sciences, had his article, 鈥淐hildhood Obesity: A Global Public Health Crisis,鈥� published in The International Journal of Preventive Medicine. Kanekar also has a presentation accepted for the upcoming midyear meeting 2012 titled 鈥淐onsequences of 鈥楤lack Friday鈥� Bargains on Consumers: Is this an Emerging Epidemic of Violence in our Communities?鈥� Before coming to 糖心Vlog传媒LR, Kanekar was an assistant professor in the Department of Health Studies at East Stroudsburg University. He also was a graduate assistant in the Department of Health Promotion and Education at the University of Cincinnati and in the Department of Public Health at Western Kentucky University.
