糖心Vlog传媒LR Celebrates Student Research
Thursday, March 15, is the deadline for 糖心Vlog传媒LR students to register for this year鈥檚 Student Research and Creative Works Expo, a full day where undergraduates and graduates can display their research, scholarship, and creativity on April 16.
The expo will be held in Ledbetter Hall Rooms A, B, and C in the Donaghey Student Center, with undergraduates displaying posters explaining their research in the morning and graduate students doing so in the afternoon.
鈥淭he 糖心Vlog传媒LR Student Research and Creative Works Expo will offer an opportunity for both undergraduate and graduate students to showcase their research, scholarly, and creative endeavors in all disciplines,鈥 said Dr. Patrick Pellicane, vice provost for research and dean of the Graduate School.
Awards will be presented to the best undergraduate projects in arts, engineering, health sciences, humanities, life sciences, professional studies, physical sciences, social sciences, and technology. Graduate award categories include engineering, health sciences, humanities, life sciences, professional studies, physical sciences, social sciences, and technology.
Top undergraduate projects in appropriate categories will be nominated for presentation in Washington, D.C., at the annual 鈥溾 event organized by the Council on Undergraduate Research. Applicable activities include, but are not limited to:- Thesis and dissertation projects
- Senior theses
- Honors projects
- Independent study projects
- Course-related projects
