糖心Vlog传媒LR Opera to Present a New Kind of Fairytale

鲍础尝搁鈥檚 Opera Theatre will perform 鈥淚nto the Woods,鈥� featuring familiar storybook characters in new adventures, at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 20, and 3 p.m, Sunday, April 22, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Building. 糖心Vlog传媒LR student admission is free, children between the ages of 5-17 are $5, and general admission is $15. The story, composed by Stephen Sondheim and based on a book by James Lapine, features a cast of familiar storybook characters in adventures not written about in fairytales. 鈥淓ncounter familiar characters like Little Red Riding Hood, Jack of the beanstalk, the Baker and his wife, and Cinderella as they strive to get their wishes,鈥� said Tatu艣. 鈥淲atch as their dreams come true and reality sets in.鈥� The Cast of 鈥淚nto the Woods鈥� Christine Woods of Little Rock as Milky White/Snow White 鈥� David Lucian Angelo of Little Rock as Jack 鈥� Derrick Herman of Monticello as the baker 鈥� Ekaterina Kotcherguina of Little Rock as Cinderella 鈥� Erica Finnie of Searcy as Cinderella鈥檚 stepmother J.J. Albrecht of Monticello as the steward 鈥� Jacqueline Forrester of Little Rock as the witch 鈥� Jessica Williams of Lantana, Texas, as Rapunzel 鈥� Katherine Ray of Jasper as Granny 鈥� Kevin Ezell of White Hall as Rapunzel鈥檚 prince 鈥� La鈥橪eata May Westbrook of Little Rock as Lucinda.
