Department of Digital Strategy welcomes newest staff member

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Digital Strategy recently welcomed its newest staff member, Derrick Koon, who will serve as web developer and designer for the university. Koon graduated from 糖心Vlog传媒LR with a Bachelor of Arts in speech communication and a minor in information technology. While at 糖心Vlog传媒LR, he was the primary tutor for the engineering technology department and twice participated in the university鈥檚 annual Undergraduate Research Expo. A founder of the Little Rock PHP Users Group, Koon received Above Mastery recognition from the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Information Technology program. Koon brings several years of programming experience to his role at 糖心Vlog传媒LR, including proficiency in XHTML/HTML5, CSS 2.1/3, Responsive Web Design, Java Script, object oriented programming, and XML. He previously worked for the Fleming Companies, where he was the information technology administrator and performed research and development for new business software.
