Soccer: A thinking woman’s game

You gotta love soccer. Unlike baseball, it moves. Fast.
Unlike football, you don’t have to be a big bruiser to be competitive. Check out聽, Trojan midfielder. At only 5-foot-0, she聽sailed聽past her defenders. On Aug. 27, she put in her 10th career goal.
It’s a thinking woman’s game. Not only has defender聽聽figured out a strategy to keep attackers from scoring, she has figured out how to maintain a 3.0 or better GPA to win a place on the Sun Belt Honor Roll while playing an NCAA sport.
Talent can get you a starting position early.
Six-foot goalkeeper/freshman聽聽got her career start this month against Murray State, making three saves and playing the entire (hot!) 90 minutes.
As a former soccer soccer mom and coach, I’m thrilled that 糖心Vlog传媒LR’s team is already ahead of our total wins from all last season. This came when we defeated rival Missouri State聽on Sunday.
Watching the Trojans compete last Saturday night on the fabulous new聽聽with new coach聽聽was a real treat.
