Registration open for child abuse conference

Registration is open for the 2014 Arkansas Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect, a conference led by , the community service unit of the 糖心Vlog传媒LR School of Social Work. The conference will be held Tuesday, Sept. 9, through Thursday, Sept. 11, at Embassy Suites in Little Rock. The theme of this year鈥檚 conference is 鈥淐ollaboration Counts: We All Have a Role to Play.鈥 The conference is a multidisciplinary learning and networking opportunity designed to provide the most current information available for working with abused and neglected children. 鈥淲e have an incredible line-up of national and local presenters who will share their knowledge and expertise with Arkansas professionals who make a difference in the lives of families and children,鈥 said Robin Wilson, conference coordinator. Law enforcement and persons employed in the legal and healthcare fields, social work and education are especially encouraged to attend. Continuing education credits will be offered and updates are also available through the 2014 Arkansas Conference on Child Abuse and Neglect .
