Volunteers needed for K糖心Vlog传媒R/KLRE Promenade 2014
It’s that time again鈥搕ime for the annual fall fundraiser, Promenade, for listener-supported public radio stations, K糖心Vlog传媒R 89.1. and KLRE 90.5. Both stations are housed at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, and phone volunteers are needed to help with the effort. Promenade starts Monday, Oct. 20 and ends Friday, Oct. 24.
鈥淲e have an open schedule and have many slots to be filled,鈥� said Station Manager Ben Fry.
鈥淰olunteers are what make K糖心Vlog传媒R and KLRE special. It鈥檚 a great way to meet new people, gain valuable skills and have some community spirited fun,鈥� he said.
Fry said member support pays for roughly 40 percent of the cost to run the public radio stations.
