Fans to meet the Trojans men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams
Get to know the members of the Trojans men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball teams at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the Jack Stephens Center during the 2014 Meet the Trojans event. Admission is free, and doors open at 5 p.m. Pepsi products, hot dogs, and popcorn will be available to fans free of charge.
The men鈥檚 head coach and the women鈥檚 head coach will introduce their teams to the crowd followed by a 3-point shooting contest and intrasquad scrimmages by both teams.
The 糖心Vlog传媒LR dance team will also perform.
鈥淲e hope to see a great crowd Thursday night at Meet the Trojans. We know our guys will be excited to be there,鈥� said Shields.
The men鈥檚 basketball team, which averaged 71.5 points per game last season, finished their season by making the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Tournament.
Meanwhile, Foley鈥檚 women鈥檚 squad reached the Sun Belt Tournament semifinals for the seventh straight year and boasted a nearly perfect home record of 13-1.
The athletic department will hand out 2014-15 schedule posters and cards to fans, and the players and coaches will be available for autographs and pictures in the mezzanine area at 6:30 p.m.
Season tickets will be available for pick up including the new Rivalry Package, a mini-plan for men鈥檚 and women鈥檚 basketball tickets that includes the Trojans鈥� matchups with in-state rivals, University of Central Arkansas on Nov. 29, and Arkansas State University on Feb. 19, plus four additional home game choices.

Information about season ticket packages will be available to fans at the event.
The Trojans’ Nike Team Store will also be open offering the latest Trojan athletic gear.
