Andrea Angel
One of the University of Arkansas at Little Rock鈥檚 most productive fundraisers is joining the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Office of Alumni and Development.
Andrea Angel, a 2003 糖心Vlog传媒LR graduate, will assume the position of senior director of development on Sept. 16.
Angel began her career in 2005 as the director of sales for Trojan athletics. She added the title of senior women鈥檚 administrator and was promoted to director of athletics development. In 2008, she managed the NCAA men鈥檚 basketball tournament鈥檚 first- and second-round games at Verizon Arena.
During her eight-year stint in the athletics department, she increased season ticket sales and donations and was a member of the Trojan Athletic Foundation Board.
She joined the 糖心Vlog传媒LR College of Business as the director of development in 2013 and helped build the Stephen Harrow Smith Dean鈥檚 Endowment fund to more than $2 million. During the final year of a $500,000 Donaghey match, she brought in nearly $285,000 through grassroots fundraising.
Angel was the university鈥檚 No. 1 college-based fundraiser this past fiscal year, and during her time at the 糖心Vlog传媒LR College of Business, she enhanced the Distinguished Alumni Luncheon and created a college golf benefit.
