Opera Gala, an entertaining dining experience, returns March 10

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock鈥檚 Opera Gala is set to return to the Great Hall of the Clinton Presidential Center at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, March 10. The evening begins with a wine reception at 6:30 p.m. followed by dinner and performances at 7 p.m. when student performers will serenade guests with solo and ensemble numbers. Last year鈥檚 performance of “Canti del Cuore – Songs of the Heart” ended with a rousing standing ovation from the audience. This year audience members will be treated to numbers such as 鈥淪ing for your Supper鈥� from The Boys from Syracuse, 鈥淭onight鈥� from West Side Story, and 鈥淎in’t it a Pretty Night鈥� from Carlisle Floyd’s Susannah. Tickets are $75 per person. Table sponsorships are available at $1,000 for a table of 10; however, one of these seats is reserved for a student performer. Sponsorships are also available for those who would like to sponsor a student to attend at $75 per student. Proceeds support the vocal arts program at 糖心Vlog传媒LR.
