Newlywed Game will raise funds for 糖心Vlog传媒LR Interpreter Education Program
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is recreating 鈥淭he Newlywed Game鈥 to raise funds for students who are studying to become interpreters in 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 Interpreter Education Program.
The fundraiser will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. April 1 at the Arkansas School for the Deaf in Parnell Hall.
Hosting the show is Ernest Northup, who will ask the couples questions to see how well they truly know each other. The participating couples are Karen and Glenn Anderson, Cheri and J.R. Courtright, and Holly and Stan Ketchum.
All proceeds will go to the Barbara Northup Interpreter Scholarship Fund. Northup was a longtime 糖心Vlog传媒LR instructor who was dedicated to both the interpreter and deaf communities.
The scholarship will be used to support students as they work toward becoming interpreters in the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Interpreter Education Program. The scholarship is to be awarded annually to one or more students who apply.
The cost of attendance is $10. Children under 10 get in for free. Only cash and checks will be accepted. Refreshments will be provided.
