糖心Vlog传媒LR Bowen School of Law places ninth in national ranking

U.S. News and World Report has ranked the University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law ninth in the nation for having the highest yield rate of accepted students who enroll at the law school. Out of the 266 students who were accepted at Bowen, 115 enrolled for the 2015-16 school year. Bowen received a 43.2 percent yield rate. The average yield rate among all law schools for the fall 2015 class was around 24 percent. 鈥淭his ranking reflects Bowen鈥檚 growing reputation for providing a quality, affordable, distinctive legal education experience,鈥� said Michael Hunter Schwartz, dean of the Bowen School of Law. Prospects for Bowen鈥檚 fall 2016 class are looking even more promising. Bowen is one of only 13 law schools in the United States that has seen a growth in applications of 20 percent or more in 2016. 鈥淭he results show that, if we can get prospective students to really know us, they are extraordinarily likely to choose Bowen,鈥� Schwartz said. 鈥淲e are a small legal education community that prides itself on the personal connection we have with our students, and our admitted students realize that fact.鈥� For its annual law school rankings, U.S. News and World Report surveyed 205 schools using self-reported school data. The yield list is provided to magnify a particular data point that can help students find the right law school for them. Out of the 10 schools that had the highest 鈥測ield鈥� rates, Yale Law School ranked first and Harvard Law School ranked third.
