Zulma Toro
University of Arkansas System President Donald R. Bobbitt has named Dr.聽Zulma Toro, executive vice chancellor for academic affairs and provost at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, as interim chancellor of the institution upon longtime Chancellor Joel E. Anderson鈥檚 retirement on聽June 30.
Following an eight-month search for Anderson鈥檚 replacement that ended in May, Bobbitt chose Dr. Andrew Rogerson, currently provost and vice president of academic affairs at Sonoma State University, as 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 10th chancellor. Rogerson will begin his appointment on聽Sept. 1.
Toro, who currently oversees 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 500-plus, full-time faculty members and nearly 12,000 students, will work closely with Bobbitt from聽July 1 to Aug. 30聽to lead the institution in the interim.
