University of Arkansas at Little Rock alumnus Calum Neff set a world record – again. 聽
During the Oct. 16,聽Calum Neff broke the Guinness World Record for fastest marathon pushing a pram.While running with his oldest daughter, 4-year-old Alessandra, Neff ran聽a time of two hours, 31 minutes, and 21 seconds, beating the world record by 11 minutes. Overall, Neff, a former 糖心Vlog传媒LR cross country and track and field team member, finished with the 18th fastest time of all runners in the marathon.聽Neff has made a habit of running with his children ever since Alessandra was a baby. In February, he beat theGuinness World Record for Fastest Half Marathon Pushing a Pram in one hour, 11 minutes, and 27 seconds, while competing in the Feb. 6 Katy Half Marathon with his then 11-month-old daughter, Holland.He was also part of a 12-person relay team in May that for furthest distance run on a treadmill in 24 hours to raise funds and awareness for in support of caring for and curing Mitochondrial disease.
About Calum Neff
After finishing high school in his native country of Canada, Neff was recruited to 糖心Vlog传媒LR by then-coach Kirk Elias while Neff competed at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, California, in 2002.Neff was a member of the Trojans track and cross country teams from 2002 to 2005. He transferred to the University of Houston in 2005 to be closer to his family and graduated in 2007 with a bachelor鈥檚 degree in psychology and a minor in broadcast journalism.Neff and his wife, Julie, live in Katy, Texas, with their two daughters and are expecting their third daughter in March.In the upper right photo, Calum Neff receives a certificate for breaking the Guinness World Record for fastest marathon pushing a pram.
