Robert Duke to speak at Academy of Teaching and Learning Excellence lecture

Dr. Robert Duke, director of the Center for Music Learning at the University of Texas at Austin, is the featured speaker for the Friday, March 17, Academy of Teaching and Learning Excellence lecture at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.聽 The event, 鈥淲hy Students Don鈥檛 Learn What We Think We Teach,鈥 sponsored by the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Department of Music, will take place at noon in Donaghey Student Center Ledbetter Meeting Room 214A. Those interested in attending should. Duke鈥檚 research on human learning and behavior spans multiple disciplines, including motor skill learning, cognitive psychology, and neuroscience. His most recent work explores the refinement of procedural memories and the analysis of visual gaze in teacher-learner interactions. He is also the co-host of the radio show & podcast .鈥
