Communication Skill Center to celebrate semester鈥檚 start Sept. 1
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock campus community is invited to join the Communication Skill Centerfor its fall kick-off Friday, Sept. 1.The event will take place from 8 a.m. to noon in the Speech Building, Room 201. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and greet the center鈥檚 staff, as well as enjoy a variety of snacks and door prizes. With the help of devoted professors and well-informed graduate assistants, the skill center provides students with ample resources to create speeches or presentations from beginning to end. This semester, operating hours for the center鈥檚 main location will be 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday. The center鈥檚 satellite location in the Ottenheimer Library student computer lab will run from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Tuesday.
