ASBTDC to Present Panel Discussion of Local Women Entrepreneurs

In celebration of Women Entrepreneurship Week, the Arkansas Small Business and Technology Development Center (ASBTDC), based at 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock, is presenting a panel discussion featuring female business owners from central Arkansas who will share their wisdom.
The free virtual panel discussion, 鈥淗ow I Got Over,鈥� will take place from 10-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, in partnership with the Women鈥檚 Business Center, Montclair State University, and Bank OZK. Please to register for the event.
The panelists include Sharee Young, owner of Take Aim Axe Throwing; Amy Moorehead, owner of Nexus Coffee and Creative; Tina Gilbert, owner of Next Level Thinking; and Katherine Daniels, owner of KD Consulting Company. In addition, Nancy Sims, Bank OZK executive vice president and government guaranteed lending national sales manager, will moderate the panel.
鈥淐elebrating the women who have had the courage to venture into entrepreneurship is a privilege,鈥� said Pamela Reed, diversity and inclusion specialist at ASBTDC. 鈥淗earing these women share their entrepreneurship journey has the potential to not only empower and inspire women interested in becoming entrepreneurs, but to also enable them to learn from their experience.鈥�
Participants will learn how local women got over the barriers and obstacles on their personal entrepreneurship journey, including how they navigated COVID-19.
October is National Women鈥檚 Small Business Month. It highlights the benefits and industry women bring to communities when they own small businesses.
