Magallanes Named Interim Director of Admissions at 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock has named Brooke Magallanes as the interim director of admissions. 鈥淚鈥檓 very excited about my new position, and I can鈥檛 wait to continue helping students discover 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock,鈥� Magallanes said. 鈥淚 love what I do immensely with recruitment communications and events, but I couldn鈥檛 pass up the opportunity to provide support to the rest of my hard-working admissions team.鈥� In her new role, Magallanes will oversee all undergraduate student recruitment and admissions efforts, lead a team of skilled recruiters working to help students fill their educational dreams, and plan and participate in recruiting events while maintaining relationships with community partners, high schools, and community colleges. Magallanes joined 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock as a student recruiter in 2016 and also served as recruitment communications and events manager. She holds a bachelor鈥檚 degree in studio arts from the University of Arkansas at Fort Smith and a master鈥檚 degree in college student personnel from Arkansas Tech University. Magallanes and her team were major contributors to the enrollment success of the fall 2022 class, which saw a 29 percent increase in first-time freshmen and an 8 percent increase in transfer students. Recruitment events such as Discover and Trojan Drive Up brought more than 1,000 students to preview campus.
