This was the highest amount raised by any chapter in the Arkansas district. During the weekend of giving, former chapter president Chris Stephens took on the role of 鈥渁mbassador鈥� to help drive donations from both members and supporters throughout the nation via email and social media. 鈥淭his is the second year in a row that I have personally had the opportunity to work as an ambassador on the SAJ Weekend of Giving,鈥� said Stephens. 鈥淚t is inspiring for me to see so many dedicated brothers donate to this cause, even when they are 30, 40, sometimes even 50 years removed from their time as an undergraduate in our chapter. It truly goes to show that our Brotherhood is not for a day, nor an hour, nor a college term only, but for life.鈥� Nationally, Kappa Sigma raised a record $375,000 from more than 11,000 donations,聽up from last year鈥檚 $312,000. All funds raised during the weekend of giving will be allocated to the donor鈥檚 scholarship fund of choice. Kappa Sigma to host fundraiser for Military Heroes Campaign]]> The 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Kappa Sigma chapter will host a food truck fundraiser on Oct. 10, 17, and 24 to raise money for the Military Heroes Campaign.聽 The Chop Chop Grill food truck will be parked at the Kappa Sigma Lodge, 5721 W 32nd St., from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Oct. 10, 17, and 24. Hugh and Carrie Change, the food truck鈥檚 operators, will donate 10 percent of all orders to the Military Heroes Campaign. The is committed to supporting ongoing care for our military veterans and their families. Since 2007, the campaign has raised over $1 million to aid veterans across North America. The Military Heroes Campaign is an initiative that consists of organizations focused on providing care for veterans and their families.
