Samantha Johnson and Rhythm McCarthy return as guest artists and will join new theatre arts and dance faculty member Robin Neveu Brown and associate professors Stephanie Thibeault and Stephen K. Stone for a diverse concert that spans modern, jazz, and ballet styles of dance. Tickets are $10 for general admission and $5 for children, students, seniors, military, 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock faculty and staff. This concert is a culminating event based on a four-semester series of study in dance composition that includes Improvisation and Choreography I, II, and III. The opening night performance will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, followed by a reception with cake and punch. Additional performances will take place at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 18; 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19; and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 20. All performances will be in the University Theatre in the Center for Performing Arts. One or two of the pieces will be selected to advance to a showing at the American College Dance Association-South Region performance in March 2017 at Auburn University.
