Bowen Law students earn Dean鈥檚 Certificate of Service]]> Several students from the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Bowen School of Law are being recognized for their numerous hours of public service during the 2017-18 academic year.聽 A Bowen student who completes 100 hours of public service during a 12-month period in which the student is in good standing at the law school is awarded a Dean’s Certificate of Public Service while a student who completes 300 hours of public service during a 12-month period is awarded the Dean鈥檚 Certificate of Distinguished Public Service. Bowen students who earned a Dean鈥檚 Certificate for Public Service include Pamela Abrams, Cory Bates, Kyla Bishop, and Mallory Floyd. Bowen students who earned a Dean鈥檚 Certificate of Distinguished Public Service include Samantha Davidson, Sharnea Diggs, Mackenzie Ivy, Kaylyn Hager, Zachary Hale, and Daina Rodriguez. 聽 The goal of the program is to make students more aware of community service opportunities and encourage students to make service a part of their professional lives. Some of the projects and organizations Bowen students volunteer at include Habitat for Humanity, Law Students for Literacy, VITA/TCE (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance/Tax Counseling for the Elderly), Race for the Cure, CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) training, Advocates for Battered Women training, and work days at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.]]>
