Mainstream Technologies is making an investment in the future by donating funds to upgrade a computer forensics lab at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock that will teach students invaluable skills for their future careers.聽

A group of University of Arkansas at Little Rock employees, students, and alumni who created a space-western storytelling card game 鈥� dubbed Galactic Scoundrels 鈥� have reached their online fundraising goal to raise enough money to have the game manufactured, breaking their fundraising goal by more than $10,000.聽

Dr. Carolina Cruz-Neira, director of the Emerging Analytics Center and interim chair of the Department of Computer Science at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, is one of the featured speakers at the 45th annual Special Interest Group on Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques (SIGGRAPH) 2018.聽

Five college students from France who interned at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock鈥檚 Emerging Analytics Center have created a 3D virtual tour of the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock campus as well as augmented reality games to entertain children at Arkansas Children鈥檚 Hospital.聽

A team of four University of Arkansas at Little Rock computer science students participated in the Shell On The Border cybersecurity competition in Fort Smith and placed fourth overall among the聽21 participating teams.
