Open seating now available in Donaghey Student Center, more changes coming to 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Dining]]> Open seating is now available for 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock students, faculty, and staff at the Trojan Caf茅 in the Donaghey Student Center.聽 The seating area was closed off during the fall 2018 semester when 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Dining Services converted the Trojan Caf茅 to an all-you-can-eat dining area that required the purchase of a meal to gain entry. Now, a meal purchase will not be required to access the open seating area located to the right of the cashier. The area can seat approximately 170 people.聽 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock will also begin renovations for a new Starbucks this summer, which will be located in the quad on the back side of the Old Student Union A building with a patio seating area facing Cooper Fountain. Starbucks is scheduled to open in January 2020. The Trojan Caf茅 will close on May 14 to undergo renovations for the summer. The dining facility will reopen in fall 2019 with a new look. Meanwhile, a chef will reimagine the menu with new food options. Current food stations will be revamped to include a Chef鈥檚 Table featuring international fares. Additionally, Conference Room G in the Donaghey Student Center will also be renovated over the summer and reopen for use in the fall. The Trojan Caf茅 will have new dining hours in the 2019-20 academic year, 7-10 a.m. for breakfast and 10:45 a.m.-2 p.m. for lunch. Dining Services will also offer continuous dining from 2-5 p.m. for lunch and 5-7:30 p.m. for dinner. While Trojan Caf茅 is closed over the summer, the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock community can dine at the Trojan Bistro from 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. and Tres Habaneros from 7-9 a.m. and 11 a.m-1 p.m. Monday through Friday. Tres Habaneros will serve buffet foods, and students and employees can use their meal plans at this location. New dining options come to 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock]]> 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock students and employees can look forward to several new dining options available this fall at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.聽 A new restaurant, Tres Habaneros, will replace Taco Bell in Donaghey Student Center. Tres Habaneros is a Tex-Mex style restaurant. The restaurant will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday. Some of the menu items include tacos, burritos, rice bowls, taco salads, quesadillas, house made nachos, and churros. Another addition to campus dining will be W.O.W. Caf茅 American Grill and Wingery, which will replace Trojan Grill in University Commons. W.O.W. Caf茅 is a New Orleans-style restaurant that will serve menu items like fresh chicken wings, burgers, veggie burgers, lettuce wraps, chicken sandwiches wraps, chicken tenders, French fries, sweet potato fries, and red beans and rice. The restaurant will open for its first day on Sunday, Aug. 19, from 6-10 p.m. The restaurant鈥檚 regular hours will be 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Friday, and 6-10 p.m. Sunday. In addition to the new restaurants, the Trojan Caf茅 (formerly Diamond Caf茅) and the Trojan Bistro in the Donaghey Student Center are receiving facelifts. Trojan Caf茅鈥檚 renovation features include new furnishings, revamped menu options, and an All-You-Care-To-Eat buffet. The expanded menu includes a refreshed serving area, and more Mindful, Simple Servings, Vegetarian, and Vegan options. Prices for breakfast ($4.85), lunch ($7.95), and dinner ($8.95) at Trojan Caf茅 are the same as last year. 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Dining Services has transitioned the Trojan聽Caf茅 into a traditional resident dining format in order聽to expand dining programs at the Trojan Caf茅. While the format of the Trojan聽Caf茅 has changed, seating will be doubled in the Donaghey Student Center retail dining area. Additionally, plans for a new second-floor student lounge in the Donaghey Student Center are underway. Students with meal plans have the option to use meal swipe in retail dining for any meal of the day. Additionally, a meal swipe exchange can be used at four on-campus restaurants: Tres Habaneros, Trojan Bistro, Sub Connection, and WOW Caf茅. There are four menu options to choose from for each location. Swipe To Go is an option for students who want to take their Trojan Caf茅 meal to go. A one-time fee gives students a reusable green container to use for the semester. When returning to Trojan Caf茅, students can exchange their used container for a clean and sanitized container.
