Poetry Slam Champ to Read Works Feb. 6

Patricia Smith, Pushcart Prize winner and four-time individual champion of the National Poetry Slam, will read some of her works at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in 糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 Fine Arts Building. A reception and book signing will follow.

New Fall Course to Explore Black Women’s Activism

Shakespearean Scholar to Lecture April 20

English scholar Dr. Peter J. Smith will present a lecture, 鈥淪omething Rich and Strange: The Tempest and the Magic of Authority,鈥 at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, in the Arkla Room in Ross Hall. The lecture is free and open to the public.
