Reynolds Center for Business and Economic Development. As part of the Joe T. Ford Trust and Career Catalyst Program, students can engage in discussions during the event aimed at helping to prepare them for the workforce. Professionals who are certified as public accountants and chartered financial analysts may attend the forum to earn Continuing Professional Education credits. James Allen, head of the Capital Markets Policy Group in the Americas at CFA Institute, will give a lecture entitled, 鈥淲hy Ethics Matter,鈥 at 1:10 p.m. Allen is responsible for developing and promoting capital markets positions and policies and leads capital markets outreach with policymakers and regulators in Washington, D.C. The second featured speaker is Robert Luck Jr., director of society advocacy engagement for the CFA Institute in the Americas region. He works to help member societies collaborate with CFA Institute in the areas of ethics, professional standards, and capital market policy. 聽Luck鈥檚 lecture, 鈥淔ramework for Ethical Decision Making,鈥 will begin at 2:10 p.m. The workshop鈥檚 final event will include a panel discussion at 3 p.m., 鈥淓thical Decision Making in Practice: Case Studies.” The panelists include Allen; Luck; Greg Hartz, founder of Foundation Resource Management; Paula Kinnard, assistant legislative auditor; and Rob Glasgow, managing partner of PwC鈥檚 Little Rock office.
