Bone, have been elected partners for Little Rock-based law firm Friday, Eldredge & Clark.聽 Bingham graduated with high honors from Bowen School of Law and holds a master鈥檚 degree in taxation from the University of Florida. Bingham also serves as an adjunct professor at Bowen, where she teaches gift tax and estate planning She joined the firm鈥檚 Trust and Estate Planning Practice Group in 2012. Her areas of practice include estate planning, estate and trust administration, estate and gift taxation, tax planning for individuals, entity formation, probate matters, and formation and planning for exempt organizations. She is a member of the Heart of America Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel and a board member of the Central Arkansas Estate Council. Bone joined the firm in 2012 after graduating with high honors from Bowen. He is part of the Medical Malpractice Practice Group and focuses on the defense of doctors, nurses, hospitals and other medical professionals in malpractice litigation. The induction ceremony took place Sept. 16 at the ACTL annual meeting in Montreal, Quebec. ACTL is composed of the best of the trial bar from the United States and Canada, and Fellowship in the ACTL is extended by invitation only. Duly experienced trial lawyers of diverse backgrounds, who have mastered the art of advocacy and whose professional careers have been marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct, professionalism, civility and collegiality, are selected. Lawyers must have a minimum of 15 years trial experience before they can be considered for fellowship. “I have been lucky to have great teachers, role models, mentors, and clients,鈥 Ator said. 鈥淎rkansas has a strong tradition of professional, collegial attorneys and has been a wonderful place to practice law.鈥 Ator is a partner with Friday, Eldredge & Clark, where she has practiced since 2001. American Bar Association honors Bowen alum for public service]]> A University of Arkansas at Little Rock William H. Bowen School of Law graduate is one of five national recipients of an American Bar Association award that honors public service in the legal profession.聽 William (Bill) Waddell Jr., a partner at, will receive the American Bar Association鈥檚 during an Aug. 12 awards luncheon in New York. The award is given to lawyers and institutions that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to providing volunteer legal services for the poor and disadvantaged. These services are of critical importance to the increasing number of people living in poverty who need legal representation to improve their lives, according to the American Bar Association. 鈥淚n the end, increased access to justice is crucial,鈥 Waddell wrote on the American Bar Association website. 鈥淚ndividuals in need, particularly women and children, often have nowhere to turn but legal aid, and their unmet problems, which can often be resolved with minimal assistance, result in a loss of community.鈥 Waddell has devoted hundreds of hours as a volunteer, handling more than 300 pro bono adoptions for Bethany Christian Services. He also serves as legal counsel to the United Methodist Church鈥檚 Council of Bishops and has served as chancellor to the Arkansas Conference of the United Methodist Church. In 2009, Wadell鈥檚 work led to the creation of the Arkansas Access to Justice Foundation, where he served as chair of the board of directors for eight years. The foundation later merged with Arkansas鈥 Interest on Lawyers Trust Accounts program to diversify support for legal aid. Waddell is a 1978 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas and a 1984 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock law school graduate. He is a recipient of a 2017 Outstanding Lawyer Award from the American Bar Association, a 2016 Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award from Legal Aid of Arkansas, and a 2013 Arkansas Bar Foundation Equal Justice Distinguished Service Award. ]]>
