Kirk to Discuss New Winthrop Rockefeller Book During Evenings with History Lecture Series on April 5]]> Kirk’s book examines Rockefeller’s hitherto unexplored life in New York and his decision to move to Arkansas in 1953. In doing so, Kirk casts a powerful new light on the former governor’s relationship with the Natural State. The event will take place Tuesday, April 5, at 7:30 p.m. online and in person at the Historic Arkansas Museum in downtown Little Rock. To attend via Zoom, register . Session on Feb. 1]]> “History Alive: Virtually!,” is a digital humanities project created for Arkansas educators and students focused on using archival documents in the social studies classrooms. Free registration for this event is linked . A Zoom link will be provided upon registration. The Center for Arkansas History and Culture will have four presenters: Deborah Baldwin, Cody Besett, Marta Cieslak, and Elise Tanner.
