Mozart concert to feature faculty and guests]]> The University of Arkansas at Little Rock鈥檚 Music Department will host a faculty and guest recital on Sunday, Feb. 17, featuring faculty members Meredith Hicks on violin and Naoki Hakutani on piano and guests Katherine Williamson on violin; Tze-Ying Wu on viola; Ethan Young, on cello; and Jaeyeon Park-Hakutani on piano. The concert will begin at 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall in the 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock Fine Arts Building. The event is free and open to the public. Dr. Rolf Groesbeck, professor of music history, will give a pre-concert lecture at 2:30 p.m. The program includes 鈥Mozart Piano Concerto in D Minor, K. 466鈥 and 鈥淢ozart Piano Quartet in G Minor, K. 478. The program includes Sonata in A major for Piano and Violin, K. 526, by W.A. Mozart, and Piano Quartet in C minor, Op. 15, by Gabriel Faur茅. Musicians include the following:
  • Meredith Hicks, violin, with Arkansas Symphony Orchestra, Quapaw String Quartet, and 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock faculty
  • Tze-Ying Wu, viola, who plays with Arkansas Symphony Orchestra and is director of the Sturgis Academy
  • Ethan Young, cello, with Arkansas Symphony Orchestra Rockefeller String Quartet
  • Jaeyeon Park, piano, associate professor of piano at Chosun University in South Korea
