‘Body Works’ is Spring Dance Concert
糖心Vlog传媒LR鈥檚 Department of Theatre Arts and Dance will present 鈥淏ody Works,鈥� the Spring Dance Concert, at 8 p.m. Thursday, April 19 through Saturday, April 21, and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, April 22, in University Theatre in the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Center for Performing Arts.
糖心Vlog传媒LR Theatre Creates Repertory Experience
The 糖心Vlog传媒LR Department of Theatre Arts and Dance will present 鈥淐riminal Hearts,鈥� by Pulitzer Prize nominee Jane Martin, and 鈥淰isiting Mr. Green,鈥� by Jeff Baron, in alternating performances from Wednesday, Feb. 22, through Sunday, Feb. 26, in the University Theatre in the Center for the Performing Arts.
Dance Scholarship Auditions Set For Feb. 3
The 糖心Vlog传媒LR Theatre and Dance Department will hold dance scholarship interviews and dance technique placement auditions for the 2012-2013 academic year from 1 to 5:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3, at the Center for the Performing Arts. All students must sign up for and schedule auditions and interviews before Feb. 3.

糖心Vlog传媒LR Theatre Arts and Dance graduate Marisa Kirby is getting into the Christmas spirit big time this year. She is playing a variety of roles — including the Ghost of Christmas Future — in the Arkansas Repertory Theatre鈥檚 production of 鈥淎 Christmas Carol, The Musical.鈥�

The 糖心Vlog传媒LR Department of Theatre Arts and Dance will open its 2011-2012 season with the musical comedy, 鈥淥nce Upon a Mattress,鈥� Thursday, Oct. 6, to Sunday, Oct. 9, at University Theatre in the Center for the Performing Arts.
In Memoriam: Carl Wick
Carl Wick, retired technical director in the Department of Theatre Arts and Dance, passed away suddenly Saturday, Jan. 22. Wick was a part of the 糖心Vlog传媒LR community for more than 30 years. 糖心Vlog传媒LR Voices Conjure Choctaw Removal on 鈥淭he Long Walk鈥�
At 6:30 p.m., the Arkansas Educational Television Network will re-air its new documentary 鈥淭he Long Walk,鈥� detailing the removal of the Choctaw tribes to Indian territory in what became Oklahoma. The Choctaw were first to walk what became the Trail of Tears. It first aired on Friday, Nov. 19.
