Sheena Howell named director of development for Business College]]> College of Business. As director of athletic development, Howell raised more than $325,000 for Specta糖心Vlog传媒LR, the department鈥檚 major annual fundraiser. She also launched a campaign to support women鈥檚 basketball, which raised more than $115,000 in less than two months. Howell spent two years in the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Department of Athletics as the Trojans’ director of sales. In that position she cultivated relationships with donors, oversaw ticket sales and season ticket renewals, and created marketing plans, while also serving as a liaison for the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Alumni Association. During two years with the , Howell maintained and managed client relations with more than 40 college campuses while consulting with local and national businesses to build advertising platforms. She raised brand awareness of QBOT and also sold the mobile marketing platform to local and national businesses. Howell, a 糖心Vlog传媒LR alumna with a degree in business administration and an emphasis in marketing, graduated cum laude in 2011. She was a member of the 糖心Vlog传媒LR track and field team and Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society. Trojan Tip-Off starts first week of classes]]> part of Trojan Daze, a weeklong schedule to orient students to campus and build relationships. Hosted by the Office of Campus Life, the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Athletic Department, and the Student Government Association, this event will have music, free food and T-shirts, and plenty of opportunities to meet fellow students, faculty, and staff. Starting at 4 p.m., attendees may eat and socialize at the Student Organization Fair. A pep rally will be held during the event, and everyone is encouraged to wear their Trojan gear to help celebrate the upcoming academic year. The night will end with a聽鈥�Sync or Sink鈥� competition. Sync or Sink is a lip sync battle with three-to-eight person teams performing one-minute routines. Winners will be decided by a panel of judges.
