糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock鈥檚 Printing Services has been honored with a prestigious national award for their exceptional work on the production of a stunning invitation, showcasing their creativity and excellence in print services.

Printing Services received the In-Print 2024 Gold Award for the Centennial Campaign Invitation from the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association.

鈥淲e were very excited to receive this award,鈥 said Bill Buddenberg, director of Printing Services. 鈥淚t鈥檚 the first time we鈥檝e ever entered our work into a national contest, so to win an award the first time is pretty special.鈥

Printing Services received the award for their printing of an invitation to a kick-off event for the Centennial Campaign, 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock鈥檚 largest fundraising campaign to celebrate the university鈥檚 100th anniversary in 2027. Printing Services worked in collaboration with Communications and Marketing on the print design.

鈥淲e knew it needed to be extra special,鈥 said Klansee Tozer, senior graphic designer, who designed the invitation. 鈥淲e worked with Printing Services to create this triple-swinger die cut, with an asymmetrical accordion hybrid format fold, which consisted of six panels in the middle. It turned out beautifully using silver ink on black cardstock paper. I am always happy to collaborate with our teammates in Printing Services. They are a great group of talented individuals, and I am proud they were recognized for their printing capabilities and great craftsmanship.鈥

Buddenberg received the award during the In-Plant Printing and Mailing Association 2024 鈥淚nsure Your Success鈥 Educational Conference and Vendor Fair in Des Moines, Iowa, June 2-6. Buddenberg also gave a presentation on staying alive in the in-plant printing industry, where he shared his expertise on leading a successful in-plant printing department.

鈥淎ll the credit for this award really goes to my team,鈥 Buddenberg said. 鈥淲inning this award only makes us want to push harder, try harder, and win more awards. It was so interesting to be at the convention and see people from all across the country look at our work. Now we are focusing on how to be a leader in our field.鈥
