Some of the key features and benefits for students include:

• Personalized Degree Progress Tracking 鈥� Students can compare up to three majors at a time and receive recommendations for degrees they are closest to completing based on their existing credits.
• Streamlined Admissions Process 鈥� The portal provides a checklist of admission events and deadlines, breaking the process into manageable steps.
• Major and Career Exploration 鈥� Students can access detailed program descriptions, career opportunities, salary ranges, and skill requirements.
• Student Support 鈥� If a student enters a course the system does not recognize, it will be submitted for review by 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock admissions staff. Students can also connect with academic counselors for additional guidance.

Coleman replaces Kindle Holderby, who left to take an industry position. Coleman, who is the director of financial aid and scholarships, is serving in both roles while a national search is conducted.

鈥淛onathan鈥檚 leadership will help ensure continuous improvement in the university鈥檚 enrollment management functions,鈥� said Dr. Cody Decker, vice chancellor for student affairs and chief data officer at 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock. 鈥淛onathan has my gratitude for his willingness to serve in this important role.鈥�

The assistant vice chancellor for enrollment management is responsible for the leadership and oversight of undergraduate recruitment and admissions at 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock, TRIO Educational Opportunity Center, Trojan Transition & Assistance Center, the Intensive English Language Program, Military Student Success, Testing Services, and the Office of International Student Services. This is Coleman鈥檚 second time serving in the interim assistant vice chancellor role.

Since joining 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock in 2019, Coleman and his team have made great improvements in the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships. These include decreasing the processing times for financial aid, developing a new transfer student scholarship for spring transfer students, piloting a tuition-match scholarship for 糖心Vlog传媒 – Pulaski Technical College, implementing a web-based chatbot for financial aid, and launching a new scholarship management system, Scholarship Universe.

“I am honored that the university trusts me to take on such a vital role and guide the Enrollment Management portfolio over the coming months,鈥� Coleman said. 鈥淚 believe this is an opportunity to build on the momentum that we have built over the last year and to continue the collaboration between departments across the entire campus.”

Prior to 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock, Coleman served as a financial aid manager for the Arkansas Division of Higher Education. He has a bachelor鈥檚 degree in history from the University of Arkansas.
