How to use the Grants Resource Center to Search for Funding Opportunities

The Grants Resource Center is a service offered by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities to help members pursue funding opportunities. In addition to news and development tools, the GRC also maintains the GrantSearch database.

Access the GRC

To find funding opportunities through the Grants Resource Center, you鈥檒l first need to

If you don鈥檛 have an account with the GRC, go to the page and fill in your information to create one. Make sure you enter your institution as “University of Arkansas at Little Rock” so that your account links to the university’s and shows you the member opportunities.

Search for grants

Once you鈥檙e signed in, you can navigate to the GrantSearch database to look for funding opportunities. The database allows you to filter by academic category, academic subject, activity type, sponsor, and deadline. You can also use a keyword to search the grants in the database.

Set up alerts

To get email updates when the database adds relevant grants, you can set up an alert. Click Save as Alert on your search results page:

Then give your alert a name (and a description, if you鈥檇 like), add your email address, and click Save.
