On July 27, 2016, the Chancellor’s Cabinet approved new policy #309.8, Investment Policy for Operating Funds. This policy was proposed by the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration.

Effective June 30, 2016, Policy 308.2, Professional and Consultant Contracts, has been rescinded because these provisions were already covered in Policy 217.1, Signature Authority Delegation for University Financial Transactions and Documents. Further, minor changes for clarification were made to the Contracts, Agreements, and MOUs paragraph in order to comply with 糖心Vlog传媒SP 300.1.

In a recent audit of our treasury operations, Internal Audit recommended that the university revise Policy 303.5 to prohibit cashing personal checks for employees. Based on a recommendation from the 糖心Vlog传媒LR Title IX Compliance Committee, Chancellor Joel E. Anderson approved an update to 糖心Vlog传媒LR’s Title IX Policy for Sex- and Gender-Based Discrimination, Harassment, and Misconduct Complaints, and Complaint Retaliation on June 7, 2016. The Board of Trustees recently adopted Board Policy 280.1 in an effort to ensure compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and related laws in the area of information technology accessibility.
