To enroll in the Faculty Helping Faculty Org on Blackboard:

1. Log into Blackboard and open the “myOrganizations” tab
2. Click on the “Organization Search” box (on the left of the screen) and type “Faculty Helping Faculty”
3. Open the org and click on “enroll” (left hand side of the screen)
4. You will then be able to access all of the resources in this organization, including discussion boards, Collaborate Ultra sessions, and more.

The second “Teaching in the TIme of COVID” conversation hour will be Wednesday, June 24th, at 4pm.

• The topic is apps and extensions
• If you have an app or extension to recommend, we ask that you give a 60-second elevator-pitch style description of it to start off the conversation (this is optional). This format will allow us to hear about many tools quickly, and then have follow-up questions, comparisons, and general discussion.

Chairs/directors: please make sure to share this with any part-time faculty or GTAs who will be teaching in the fall.

These online conversations will be organized around specific teaching topics that instructors can explore together as we prepare for the fall semester. These conversations will take place in the Blackboard “Faculty Helping Faculty” Organization (via Collaborate Ultra).

The first “Teaching in the TIme of COVID” conversation hour will be Wednesday, June 17th, at 4 pm. 

• The first topic is student engagement in online and hybrid environments.
• We ask that you bring with you 1 teaching tip to share or 1 question (or, if you prefer, just come and listen in).
