College Board Offers Participant Grants to new teachers who wish to attend an APSI.

Each year, College Board awards grants for qualifying teachers NEW to an AP subject to attend an AP Summer Institute (APSI). Anyone who needs to attend for a subject that has undergone revision this year is also able to apply, regardless of previous APSI attendance. Those subjects for 2027 are AP Business with Personal Finance. The application is open March鈥揓une or until all grants have been distributed.

  • Participant grants cover the cost of tuition only. All other APSI costs (including, but not limited to, travel, lodging, and food) are the responsibility of the grant recipient.
  • The participant grants are distributed directly to the APSI after the participant has attended. They are not renewable or transferable and only cover tuition for the APSI selected in the year they are awarded. No Shows will be subject to the cancellation policy of the APSI.
  • See the College Board website and complete an application
