The Emerging Analytics Center at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock researches and develops data analytics through a multidisciplinary approach that combines immersive visualization, augmented/virtual/mixed realities, and interactive technologies with advanced computational methods.

Under the leadership of researchers Dr. Ahmed Halimeh, who serves as Director of Health Informatics Research and Associate Professor of Information Science, and Dr. Arya Basu, an Assistant Professor specializing in Virtual Reality and Human-Computer Interaction research investigating human spatial decision-making in virtual environments, the center focuses on translational applications of data analytics.

Dr. Halimeh’s expertise spans data quality, data analytics, data integration, human-computer interaction, and health informatics Research – Information Science – 糖心Vlog传媒 Little Rock, while Dr. Basu’s research emphasizes the impact of virtual environments on translational training and skill-building. The center’s portfolio extends beyond visualization to include research in cybersecurity, mobile/ubiquitous computing, the internet-of-things, and applications of machine and deep learning, creating an integrated approach to emerging analytics that bridges theoretical research with practical applications in healthcare, education, and interactive technology development.
